Dear Friends,

Wisdom & Money is launching a search to fill a part-time position of Associate Director for Administration and Communication.   I am writing to ask for your help in inviting applications.  I’ve attached the Job Description and Wisdom & Money’s core competencies that apply to all staff and board members.   I also want to highlight a a few details that would be important for an applicant to know.

First, Wisdom & Money offers an incredible opportunity to work collaboratively with people who are committed to spirituality and social justice.  The people who work and volunteer at Wisdom & Money are passionate about our mission of engaging with money as a doorway to spiritual transformation and are willing to attend to our own personal growth alongside completing the tasks that the job requires.  That is to say, we see “how” we are working as equally critical to our work as “what” we are doing.

Our staff primarily work out of our home offices, using phone and digital technology to connect with other staff and board members.  While not required, we prefer that this person be located in either the San Francisco Bay Area or near Boston, MA to facilitate occasional in person meetings with one of our Co-Directors.

The Associate Director for Administration and Communication is a 50% position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, though we work using a flexible schedule.  Some weekend work is required.   Compensation will be based on 50% of an annualized rate of $65-80k.   Benefits will also be provided, at a pro-rated rate.

We are asking those interested to submit a cover letter explaining their interest in Wisdom & Money’s mission and their qualifications for the position along with a resume, and three references by April 30, 2018 to [email protected].
We plan to receive applications until April 30, interview in May, and make an offer in June to begin work on  July 1.   Ideally, this person will also be available to attend Be Present’s conference highlighting Black Women’s Leadership in Building an Inclusive Movement for Social Justice June 21-24 in Dahlonega, GA, as part of training.
Thank you!
Rose Feerick
